Rain Therapy by Alan Bedworth

It's odd how rain lashing at

your windows, can act as an

appeaser when your mind

is troubled.

The drops chasing one another

down your window, gives you

something else, to focus your

worries on.

After a short time your

brain starts meandering,

through all the recesses

of memory, you have been

storing.

Staring through those droplets

of rain.

It appears your thoughts are

bereft of pain.

The longer you sit your demeanor

changes, from gloom and sadness,

to a future of brightness.

When you feel at a low ebb,

remember nature has a

deliberate way of healing.
