The Surfer by E Kraft

Standing on the shore, I see

His board greets his oceanic buds

Gently stroking the sea with each swift turn

Humble display of reliance

A lone man amidst endless power.

I watch him disappear into the horizon

Surfing through life beyond the waves

Navigating the highs and lows

Of the known and unknowns

Of the natural and unnatural

Courageously, gracefully, unobtrusively.
