About the Editor

Saharsh Satheesh is the founder and editor of Trouvaille Review, an independent poetry journal he started in 2020 out of a love for poetry and a desire to create a space where writers could share their work with a wider audience. A published poet himself, Saharsh understands both the excitement and vulnerability that come with putting one's writing into the world. Since founding the journal, he has remained committed to discovering new voices, celebrating thoughtful writing, and making the literary community more welcoming to poets of all backgrounds and levels of experience.

For Saharsh, poetry has always been a way to make sense of the world and the people in it. He is particularly drawn to writing that finds meaning in ordinary experiences, captures emotions that are difficult to put into words, or offers an unexpected perspective on something familiar. As an editor, he values sincerity, originality, and the distinct voice that each writer brings to the page.

Outside of his literary work, Saharsh is a medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Although medicine and poetry may appear to occupy different worlds, he sees a natural connection between them. Both require careful observation, empathy, and an appreciation for the complexity of human experience. His interests in science, medicine, and the humanities continue to shape the way he approaches both writing and editing.

Through Trouvaille Review, Saharsh hopes to continue building a community where writers feel encouraged to share their perspectives and readers can discover work that resonates with them. What began in 2020 as a personal passion project remains an important part of his life and a reflection of his belief that poetry deserves to be read, shared, and celebrated.
