Acrylic in Canvas by Gopal Lahiri

 1.

Moaning in the cries of dove,

house sparrows and low clouds fill in

not two-toned,

but grey all the way through-

delicate and discerning.

2.

I contemplate the dark sky

on the white canvas,

nothing is written-

it is in suspension,

the stories remain untold.

3.

There is blue and shades of white

feeling with insight,

no piling of words,

the slow, painful steps of learning

die in the summer flame.
