Ignite by Craig Cruise

Passing clouds

Make shifting shadows 

Dark to light 

Then shining bright

The wind is strong

Removing leaves 

they hold on tight

But lose the fight

Cold air blows 

I shiver still

Bundle tight

It warms my plight

Blessed to be 

Alive and well

Not losing  sight

My soul ignite…

Craig Cruise is an author and poet. Living in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains for most of his life, the amount of material to write about is never ending. Besides living in the beautiful mountains subject matter comes easy as he is not only a poet but also a husband, father, grandfather, chaplain and police officer. Craig’s first children’s novel is called MUSSOPO AND HIS GREAT ADVENTURE. He will be releasing his next children’s novel in the Spring of 2022.
