The Muir Less Traveled by LA Felleman

Abandoned cars

lined both shoulders

Tourists afoot

kept on crowding

So we traded

postcard Forest     for local Beach

Hiking pacific breezes

Currently, LA is an accountant in Iowa City. She organizes a writers open mic at the public library (or via Zoom during pandemics) and serves on the advisory council of Iowa City Poetry.
